Nicolas Aragon is Vice President and Director of Acquisitions and Development at Republic Land Development. He is responsible for sourcing new development opportunities and managing projects over the development lifecycle including feasibility, acquisition, entitlement, predevelopment, construction, delivery, and lease-up. His primary focus at Republic Land Development is to oversee Republic’s Corners Program – a retail development platform – and Republic’s Build-for-Rent Program in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern United States.
Prior to joining Republic Land Development, Mr. Aragon worked with a national valuation, consulting, and advisory firm where he evaluated over $10 billion worth of commercial real estate assets. His assignments included a broad range of asset classes, with an emphasis on large, institutional-grade properties in the greater Washington, D.C. region. His clients included attorneys, brokers, developers, governments, financial institutions, Fortune 500 companies, life companies, pension funds, REITs, and special servicers.
Mr. Aragon started his career with a regional brokerage and land development firm, where he focused on tenant and landlord representation working with local, regional, and national retailers. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Maryland.
