Kelly Macy is Vice President of Development at Republic Metropolitan (Re/Met). Based in San Francisco, Ms. Macy supports Republic in public/private development nationally that includes urban mixed-use, transit-oriented design, commercial and cultural developments. Her work includes project pursuit and acquisition, supporting development activities, concept and value proposition design, team development and management, programming and business model development, financing strategies, community outreach, marketing and collateral creative direction.
Ms. Macy has worked with Bay Area developers and architects for over fifteen years designing and managing successful pursuits, with a combined value of $700 million. Prior to joining Republic, Ms. Macy headed up an award-winning brand and business strategy office in San Francisco, and was a design educator for many years. Ms. Macy is a graduate of the California College of Arts Masters of Business Administration, Design Strategy program, with an emphasis on qualitative and quantitative business analysis and development.
Ms. Macy is married and lives with her husband, architect Mark Macy and their two children in the Richmond district in San Francisco. Currently, as the founding Executive Director of The San Francisco Museum at The Palace, Macy is helping to lead the effort to adaptively reuse the historic and iconic Palace of Fine Arts as a financially self-supporting non-profit museum complex celebrating the innovation stories of San Francisco and the Bay Area.
