Nags Head Oasis

Republic Land acquired this property, which previously housed a 133-room oceanfront motel, and re-developed it as a luxury, oceanfront residential property. The motel had been badly damaged in a hurricane, but Republic saw the value in the eight separately platted lots that the motel had been built on more than 40 years earlier. Eight resort homes have been completed, one of which has been sold, and seven which are offered under the Oasis brand for weekly vacation rentals.
