Charlotte's Gateway District

Gateway Station is a public-private partnership between the city of Charlotte, North Carolina's Department of Transportation and Charlotte Gateway Partners that is a joint venture of the Spectrum Companies, a Charlotte-based developer, and Republic. The project includes hospitality, shops, residential towers, office towers and a hub for public transit that will include a number of transportation modes such as: local, express and intercity buses, a new intercity Amtrak Station, streetcar service, light rail, ridesharing services and improved bicycle and pedestrian access.
