Republic Land Development—along with its affiliates, Republic Properties Corporation, Republic Urban Properties, and Republic Metropolitan—is part of the Republic Family of Companies, a privately owned, full-service real estate investment, management, and development enterprise based in Washington, D.C.
Republic Land Development provides various real estate services to the Family of Companies, including due diligence, pre-development entitlements (approval processing) and market services, structuring of acquisitions, coordination of zoning, entitlements and permit processing across multiple jurisdictions, and negotiating major tenant leases.
Republic Land Development also supports the Republic Family of Companies Corners Program, securing urban in-fill commercial corner properties for retail development. These properties generate an immediate return on investment upon the completion of each development and are designed to supply the net-leased, single-tenant-properties market with product. These, to be developed properties are generally three to 10 acres in size and are purchased outright or developed in Joint Ventures with property owners. In addition, Republic Land Development seeks zoning and approval changes for land uses to its highest and best “use” including suburban and urban projects.
