As Vice President for Republic Metropolitan (“ReMet”), Oliver Cima is responsible for planning and organizing resources for pre-development real estate projects. In this role, he is also tasked with elements of new business procurement, financial analysis of large scale programs, and supporting day-to-day operational needs.
Prior to joining Republic Family of Companies, Mr. Cima was Real Estate Manager at the CoStar Group, a multinational commercial real estate research firm. In that role he managed a team of eleven Real Estate Analysts responsible for researching, and ultimately publishing, accurate and up-to-date analytic and transaction information for major metropolitan areas. In this client facing position, Mr. Cima was responsible for ensuring the quality of the data for a $10 million revenue market, which during his tenure boasted a 95% year-over-year client renewal rate.
Mr. Cima began his career at the Federal Aviation Administration (F.A.A.) as a member of the field team for the Engineering and Implementation group, tasked with maintaining and updating mission critical communication infrastructure.
Mr. Cima received his Bachelors degree from Western Maryland College.
